Soule Golden has spent her life learning about the world through textiles. She believes in collective art and the collaborative process. After childhood exploration in sewing, drawing, and dance, Soule attended classes at Fashion Institute of Technology and earned a Bachelor of Science in Textiles from Cornell University. Her first work experiences were with The Santa Fe Opera and The Joffrey Ballet. She later went on to work as a painter and dyer for Broadway, film, and fashion. Soule has designed costumes for The Joffrey Ballet, Luna Negra Dance Theater, Light Opera Works Chicago, Chicago Guilbert and Sullivan Opera Co., The Gallery Players Brooklyn, The Dance Cartel, Yale Cabaret and Yale School of Drama. She recently designed Caucasian Chalk Circle at Yale Repertory Theater where she is pursuing her M.F.A.
