Lena’s work has been seen at REDCAT, Juilliard, Remy Bumppo, The Women’s Interart Center, The Irish Art Center, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and film festivals nationally.

As an assistant, Lena worked with Elizabeth Clancy on the development and national tour of A Christmas Story: the Musical, and on Shakespeare in the Park’s Measure for Measure. At CalArts, Lena has worked with and learned from directors and artists, Claudio Kuri, Brooke O’Harra, Kay Maschullat and Guillermo Gomez-Peña. Lena also explored activating publics in performative contexts while studying with Joe Rohde, creator of Animal Kingdom.

Lena is inspired by performance’s capacity to question, incite and excite as global matters increasingly influence our lives.
